Yafaau, got a common cold

Yesterday, Yafaau was acting a bit moody and stiff compared to his usual behaviour. We failed to notice that he was infact getting a runny nose a.k.a common cold. Having a runny nose is a big challenge for a child with Cerebral Palsy, as almost all children with CP has difficulty in sucking+swallowing movement. In addition, Yafaau tend to vomit, when he has a sore throat.

Yafaau’s sickness has come in a very unfortunate timing as we were getting ready to get admitted(Mommy’s thyroid operation) next Sunday. But, Mommy’s doctor was extremely helpful and had given us his mobile number for us to get in touch with him incase we needed and the need had come. We contacted and requested if it could be re-scheduled. Now, it’s been rescheduled to wednesday.

We hoped that Yafaau would get along with Grand Mother and Grandpa, but with a sickness, Yafaau tend to be more stiff and is more difficult to manage even for us.

So, we’re hoping that Yafaau would be alright soon as we cannot delay Mommy’s Thyroidectomy for long.
