“Khaassa Ehee”, radio programme by VOM.

A new radio programme by the national radio, Voice Of Maldives is being broadcasted these days with the assistance of Ministry of Higher… Social security and CARE Society of Maldives. Today’s topic on this programme was Cerebral Palsy. It was very odd though to use the term “Nukulhedhey(disable)” rather than “Khaassa Ehee(special needs)” specially when the name of this programme is “Khassa Ehee”. I am informed by a friend in this field that there are discussions among involved organisations/ministries on using a common term.
