Thats where people like you come in. Your websites (forum, blog and the parent site) can be the meeting place.

It is sometimes very difficult for people to set aside enough time to attend meetings and seminars. It is not my intention to trivialise the importance of such meetings, but unless we have a lot to offer, it is not as rewarding as some would like it to be. And hence they may find it not worthy of attending.

Web forums and discussions can be a viable alternative. Here we can discuss those very issues at our own time of convenience.

We can work together but still remain seperate entities. I will be more than happy to contribute in the efforts of CARE society in my current capacity, as an outsider with an interest in caring!

Well… That would be really neat but they are so outdated that their new website also doesn’t have any information. I feel the parents themselves needs to be aware at first. They community will only accept it then. The CARE Society has no intention of giving out any publications to parents although I have noted that there are more than 350 registered members but only 20(max) members attend CARE Parent meetings! I know at least 75 of the members are from Mal? then why are we seeing fewer parents in these meetings? This is where the awareness is needed most, not the government offices and funding companies.

Yasif, if Care society would agree we could place downloadable files of their information sheets on our websites and blogs.

At no extra cost! And as their copyright material.

That should help spread the word.

I would however like to read the content before I do that for my site.
